Last night I removed my wav albums and copied a ‘scratch’ folder of different music file extensions (eg mp3 mp4 etc) into my ‘OldMusic’ folder, and beets was working OK with these. I use wav files as my storage medium which as you say beets doesn’t seem to be able to see. This all went OK without any errors, - But I still get the same result.
